For 2026, they are rolling out the new and improved FT Youth Hockey Stick, so young players can get a handle on the game at their own pace. With a similar construction to the adult side, along with an enhanced blade and kick point tailored specifically for young players, the Jetspeed Youth stick ensures your child’s first few years in hockey are as fun and seamless as can be.

Stick Flex Profile

Like the Jetspeed line, the Jetspeed FT Youth is designed to cater to a whole range of players and playstyles. This can be a very important characteristic for younger, learning players, as it allows them to work on a playstyle that they would prefer and enjoy. The Jetspeed Youth has a modified hybrid kickpoint that offers the desired support your child needs to develop their shooting, stickhandling, and passing.

Shaft Construction & Stiffness

The shaft on this stick is designed with a Youth geometry. Designed to help kids learn how to hold their sticks and develop their stickhandling and shooting technique.

Blade Construction

The blade on this stick features the stiff composite painted blade. This level of blade stiffness is designed to help younger players lift the puck while allowing enough feel for stickhandling and passing.

Grip

The Jetspeed FT Youth stick comes with full grip to help young players with control and feel over their sticks.

Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length

The CCM Jetspeed FT Youth Hockey Stick comes in the P29 blade pattern.

P29 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. This curve may suffer a little bit on the backhand.
